Live Arrival Guarantee

If temperatures at your location are below 45 or above 85 degrees F you must select "Hold For Pickup" when placing your order to receive our Live Arrival Guarantee. If your local temperature is below 45 or above 85 degrees F, and you did not select "Hold For Pickup", there is no Live Arrival Guarantee for your order. 

Hold For Pickup: Hold for Pickup is a USPS special service that delivers your package to the nearest USPS facility to your address. You will receive an email detailing when and where your package shipped and how to retrieve it. There is no additional charge for this service.

Problem With Order: If there's a problem with your order that you'd like to bring to our attention, please contact us at [email protected] within 24 hours of delivery. Email correspondence must include the following:

• Order number
• Description of issue
• Photos detailing issues

• Orders received before 12:00 PM EST ship same day

How-To-Care Guide

Your worms will come packaged in a cotton bag filled with newspaper. The packaging provides the ventilation and surface area necessary for safe and healthy shipping.

• Remove cotton bag from shipping box and shake worms into a container (plastic food storage bins work well).
• Add 1 inch of ground oats, wheat bran, corn meal, or other food/substrate to storage container.
• Add water source for worms in the form of fresh potatoes, carrots or other vegetables.
• Check water source/vegetables for mold/mildew 2 times per week and discard if moldy. 
• Keep worms at room temperature (60-80 F).
• Never let worms sit in direct sunlight or in temps above 85 or below 45 degrees F.
• DO NOT REFRIGERATE SUPERWORMS. Refrigeration will kill them.
• When bedding appears dark and sandy, sift worms and add fresh bedding.
• Superworms shelf life is roughly 4 – 6 months if properly maintained.
